Story Time

I have to tell you what my darling husband did for me... I finally got my diploma in the mail this week and Wes kept talking about hanging it up in the house. I told him it wasn't very attractive decor. So yesterday he took it upon himself to go buy a frame. So, last night he told me to come in the spare bedroom because he had a surprise for me... I was like oh no what did you buy...sure enough there was my diploma all framed. It was the cutest gesture. He is such a cute proud husband! Thank you so much for always taking care of me sweetie. I love you MOST! xo

SilverLake

Saturday we went for a nice Harley ride up Big Cottonwood Canyon. On the way up we stopped at the Silver Fork Lodge and sat out on the patio and had a fabulous breakfast. It was so pretty up there. Then we rode up to the lake and walked the trial around the lake. While we were walking there were a ton of squirrels running around so Wes was able to feed them gold fish crackers. It was so cool. It was such a beautiful ride and day. It's always an adventure on the Harley.

To the Best Husband EVER

Wes and I are coming up on our one year anniversary! Woohoo! It has been the best year ever. I could not have asked for a better husband or man in my life.

20 things I love about my darling husband:

  1. I love that he treats me like I am the only thing that matters.
  2. He is always so positive and has the best attitude about everything!
  3. He is such a hard worker, I don't know how he juggles everything between work and school.
  4. He is just has beautiful on the inside as he is on the out.
  5. He has so many talents and is ridiculously smart: cooking, drawing, etc.
  6. He is willing to try anything and is always up for an adventure.
  7. He sits through my stupid TV shows with me.
  8. He cuddles me every night while we watch TV and before I fall asleep.
  9. He tells me how pretty I am even when I look my worst.
  10. I think it's sweet he is so confused on who loves who the most. Of course I love him the MOST!
  11. I love his motivation and determination to get things done. He is such a little goal setter.
  12. I love that he is supportive of me and everything I do.
  13. I love his darling personality and sense of humor. A day doesn't go by that he doesn't make me smile or laugh.
  14. I love how chill he is. As long as we are together it doesn't matter what we are doing.
  15. I love the relationships and love that he has for his family.
  16. I love that when he rolls out of bed he still looks like a million dollars.
  17. I love his blue eyes and pearly white teeth. They melt my heart every day.
  18. I love that I get a kiss from him every time he walks in the door.
  19. I love that he can sleep through the most annoying alarm.
  20. I love his little addictions: Tabasco and Seafood. I giggle every time he needs one of them.
Thanks for a wonderful first year honey! I can't wait for many more to come :) xoxo

Jersey Story...

So I have the most hilarious story to tell you... Yesterday Jersey and I pulled up to the mailbox on our way home like we do everyday, well I closed the door behind me as I got out and Jersey decided that he needed to lock the car doors. I was stunned. I had nothing with me, everything was locked in the car with Jersey. Luckily for Jersey the car was still running with the AC on and at one point when I peeked in the car he was napping on the driver side of the car. Yeah he has a rough life. He could have cared less about what was going on.

I had to ask a neighbor girl if I could use her cell phone to call Wes. Wes just giggled, he had to run to Parental Goulds to get my spare key. So I worked on some sun rays for about 45 minutes until Wes got there to save the day. Of course, while I was sitting there every neighbor had to walk by. I was so embarrassed.

It's a good thing he is so cute...

American Fork Canyon to Heber

A Sunday morning Harley ride was a must over the weekend. We rode with Parental Goulds up American Fork Canyon. It was so green and pretty. Parental Goulds almost got hit by a deer (scary face). With a Harley ride always comes food. So, we rode into Heber to eat at The Hub. It was so yummy. They had the best navajo tacos. Neither one of us had had a navajo taco in years, it was like a childhood memory. After lunch we rode down Provo Canyon to head home. On the way we passed the prison at the point of the mountain. They have a cafe out front of the prison called, Serving Time Cafe, Wes and I thought that was the greatest thing ever so we are going to go their one day for lunch. It will be an adventure. I will let you know how it goes. Supposedly the inmates are the ones who serve you lunch, wish us luck!

Happy 4th of July

To celebrate the 4th Wes and I took Bernie and Jersey for a hike up Millcreek. It was beautiful and yes I know I look like Scary Spice. The dogs and I were so beat we crashed the minute we got home.
