Blue Lemon

Last night Mama Barkell and I went to a cooking class at the Blue Lemon. It was so much fun and the food was divine. The instructor was great, he is the owner of the Blue Lemon. He was very entertaining.

It was a watch n learn cooking class. We learned how to make a bunch of different salads and vinaigrette dressing. If you love to cook I would highly recommend it. It only costs $20, you can't beat it. Learn to cook, eat yummy food, and meet lots of fun people!

Graduation

I am currently enrolled in my last class. I am just counting down the days until graduation. WOOHOOO!

The Roadhouse

On Saturday, we doubled with John and Emmy. We went to the Roadhouse for dinner, for some reason that tends to be our spot when we go with them probably because the food is delicious. It was fun to catch up with them outside of the Lifetime gym.

To celebrate the Irish for the night we went to Rumrz for dinner.
We had so much fun! The night was filled with good conversation,
lots of yummy food, a little March Madness, and some bagpipes.

The Final Product

After several weeks of construction, the garage is finally done! Woohoo! Check it out:

Bob

So Bob (the Harley) went in for surgery this week. He got some new pipes and cams. You will be glad to know he returned in one piece and is extremely loud and supposedly pretty fast now :)

Look at the SMILE on his face. Can it get any bigger?

Need a Good Laugh

So... Mama Gould has been coming to the gym with me this last week. Well, last night I talked her into getting on the stair climber with me. To set the picture for you, everyone on the cardio machines can see you when you are on the stair climber because you are in the middle of everything plus they sit you up real high. I explained to Mama Gould how to start the machine and how to increase the speed. What Mama Gould didn't realize is the stair climber isn't like the treadmill, when you increase the speed it increases by a full speed, not by decimals.

Here comes the funny part of the story... she holds down the speed button, I would guess she probably got up to speed 12 or 13 all of the sudden her feet can't keep up with the stairs moving and she slides down the machine and almost falls on her ass. She was giggling so hard she couldn't get herself back up on the stairs. Once she did... she was so flustered and nervous she couldn't even listen to her ipod. We laughed about it for the next 20 minutes. I am sure the girl next to us thought we were nuts. It was hilarious, you definitely had to be there.
