Bed & Breakfast

Wes and I had such a fun little date night a few weeks ago and I just got around to uploading the pictures. One of our favorite things to do after work on a Friday night is wander downtown and see what kind of trouble we can get ourselves into. This particular weekend we dined at PF Chang's and bumbled around City Creek to see what kind of treasures we could find.
Then we headed up to the Avenues and stayed at a quaint little bed and breakfast called The Ellerbeck Mansion. Once we got all checked in Wes and I strolled up and down the Avenues admiring all of the cute little houses and shops. We had a perfect view of the rain storm hitting the valley. It was a night full of fun and adventures, but it didn't end there. The next morning we woke up to a yummy breakfast and ventured over to the Farmer's Market to check out the yumminess they had to offer.
I love our adventures together and could not ask for a more fabulous husband to share life with!

Accepted

I can't begin to tell you how proud I am of this guy! It has always been a dream of Wes' to get is Master's Degree and he will have the opportunity starting this Fall. Wes just found out he got accepted into the University of Utah's Master of Science in Finance program. I am so excited for him and could not be prouder. I seriously admire Wes because he is constantly wanting to learn and push himself everyday! He is one of a kind and I am so lucky to be married to him. I love you baby!

To celebrate, Wes and I tried the best sushi place in Salt Lake, Sapa. Their sushi is not only moan worthy, but it is also completely reasonably priced. I can't wait to go back.

Thayne's Canyon

Wes and I decided we wanted to embrace mother nature and the fabulous weather we have been having so we decided to go for a hike up Mill Creek. We hiked Thayne's Canyon... this was no baby hike. I have never sweated so bad in all of my life. We definitely didn't know what we were in for when we chose this hike. It was so beautiful and worth it once we got to the top. Then crazy Wes made us climb on these rock over looking the edge and I hated every minute of it. It totally freaked me out.
