Happy 26th

Saturday was Wes' 26th birthday. I wanted to make it a special day so I surprised him with a massage in the
morning, which was fabulous. Neither one of us knew what to expect. My girl had to keep telling me to relax, it was funny.

Then we went for a nice ride on the Harley to lunch to our new favorite place, Rumrz. Then saw the movie, Red, if you were wondering it's definitely a RedBoxer :) For dinner we went to the Mandarin in Bountiful, which is a long story but a funny one. To sum it up we ordered this duck that takes like two days to prepare and you would have thought we were movie stars or something because everyone was making a huge deal about the duck we ordered. Even the manager came out and was giving us special attention. It was the funniest thing ever. So if you ever want to feel like you are VIP for a night order the duck. After dinner we went to the Hog Wollow to listen to some live music. The band was pretty good, we listened to like 3 songs and left. You get married and all of the sudden you want to be a home body. It was such a fun day though and Wes had a nice birthday!

And I Am Back!!!!

I may not be on the open road anytime soon, I know you can thank me later, but no little "crash" is going to keep me down. I had my first dirt bike experience in a while. I was a little bit of a wuss bag to begin with, but I got the hang of it. And of course Wes was a rockstar on his, going over the woop-di-doos and jumps! We will definitely be owning our own in the future!

Just Call Me Crash...

Just call me Crash... I took the Rider's Edge Course at Harley Davidson over the weekend because I thought it would be good to know how to drive a motorcycle and who knows maybe I would want to drive my own someday, Wrong!!! The most important thing I learned through this course was I am not meant to drive a motorcycle. Over the weekend we learned all sorts of drills and maneuvers, now mind you this was my first time driving a motorcycle. One of the drills was to shift from 1st to 2nd gear. During this drill I was making a right turn and got a little off balance and to get straightened out I revved  the throttle. Bad Idea!!! As you can imagine what happened next... I ran right into the fence going about 15mph. I remained sitting on the bike and it stood straight up in the fence. This was just one of many occurrences that happened this weekend, well the only one that has evidence. Good news is I passed my motorcycle test and you will be happy to know I won't be on the road anytime soon except to ride on the back of Wes' bike :)
