The Paris

Friday, we had a special date night to celebrate Wes passing his dreadful Calculus class. We went to The Paris in Salt Lake, it was such a quaint little restaurant. We ate out on the patio and listened to live music. It could not have been a more fabulous night.

Wes is going to be graduating this summer and he has recently started a new job at Fidelity. I admire what a hard worker Wes is, he teaches me so much everyday! I am so proud of him and am so lucky to have the best husband EVER! I LOVE YOU MOST! xoxo

Family Golf Tournament

Back in the day the original Gould's used to have an annual family golf tournament. Now that Johnny and I are married we decided we needed to bring some friendly competition back to the family. We had our 1st Annual Tournament on Sunday. We played at Stonebridge Golf Course. Tommy, Emilee and me were on a team together and Johnny, Wes and Mama Gould were cohorts. Let's just say there were lots of golf balls lost, a driver head broke, and lots of laughs. We had such a great time. I can't wait for our next round.

Weekend Fun

Sunday we went on a Harley ride with Parental Gould's. This was only our second time out all year. It was such a beautiful day. We went to the Harley Dealership because there was a ride leaving to go to Wendover and we wanted to see all of the bikes take off. There were hundreds of bikes, it was awesome to see them all lined up.

This is everyone lining up to leave for Wendover. If you look at the middle picture that dude is on a scooter. Good for him!
We went to Ruth's Diner for lunch. It never seems to disappoint. We ate on the patio and listened to live music. After our bellies were fully we went on a little ride to East Canyon Reservoir and took a few pictures then headed home. It was a fabulous way to end the weekend.

I look so special in that middle picture. There is not one pretty thing about that picture :)

Vegas

For my 26th birthday (I know I am getting old!) I decided I wanted a little vacation to Vegas and to see a show, so that's what we did. We got up early Thursday morning, made a quick stop to Einstein's and we hit the road. Thursday night we stayed on Old Fremont Street at the Golden Nugget. What an adventure that was...

Once we got checked in we headed straight for the pool which surrounds an enormous fish tank that has a water slide running through it. I am not making this stuff up. See for yourself:

Yes those are sharks! Crazy huh?! That night we went to a fish n' chips kind of joint for dinner on Fremont Street called Mickie Finns to listen to some live music, then we did a little gambling, and then this was the highlight of the night...

Wes wanted me to take a picture with one of the many crazies on Fremont Street and this handsome devil was the lucky winner. No I am not really grabbing his buttocks, but I am still laughing just looking at this picture.

This is Wes's shark face

The next morning we got up and went to the Hash House for breakfast at the Plaza. We shared their Eggs Benedict. It was so yummy!

After breakfast we checked into the Hard Rock Hotel. I promise it ruined us for life. I don't know if we will be able to stay anywhere else, but the Hard Rock. We stayed in their HRH Suite Tower we had exclusive access to their club and the pool.

This is us laying out at Breathe (they relaxing pool vs party central). It was so nice to get some sun and catch up on some reading.

This is our room at the Hard Rock. I can't get over how nice it was.

Part of my present from Wes for my birthday was tickets to Zumanity. What an incredible show. It was naughty, but a ton of fun that is all I am going to say about that!

As you can see we had a fabulous much needed getaway. I could not ask for a better birthday.

Elantra

This is the newest additional to our family. My poor Acura started to have transmission problems so we were forced to get a new car so we thought well let's go big or go home. We got a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. It has all of the bells and whistles that I wanted: leather seats, sunroof, and an ipod cable. I actually don't mind driving now! ;)

I love you most!

My darling husband had a mug custom made for me for Easter. It says, "Wes love's Alise the MOST" and then has a picture of me and him. Obviously he is a little confused because I love him the most, but it was the sweetest gift. Now every morning when I drink my coffee I am reminded what a lucky girl I am!

Easter

Hello there! I hope you all had a Happy Easter. Here are a few snapshots from our Easter. We had a fabulous brunch at Bambara and went for a little Harley ride. Anything to soak up the sunny day...

Jazz Game

Wes got tickets to the Jazz vs Heat game. We got to sit in the Executive Club Suite where they wine and dine all of their guests. They had a buffet full of yummy food and desserts. We had such a great time and it was the best Jazz Game ever. It ended up Jazz: 99 Heat: 98.
